Our season finale celebrates artists of international repute who call Michigan home. Making their CSD debuts will be two of Detroit’s brightest new stars, Detroit Symphony Orchestra principal violist Eric Nowlin and principal cellist Wei Yu. They join Ann Arbor Symphony Concertmaster and University of Michigan Professor of Violin, Aaron Berofsky and CSD artistic director, pianist Pauline Martin, in a superb program – Mozart’s ebullient Piano Quartet in G Minor, paired with one of the great monuments of the chamber music literature, the deeply moving Piano Quartet in A Major by Brahms.
